FORMAT: No formal structure & no concert. Come along and play any style of music or songs that you wish. You can                    meet many other ‘uke’ fans, chat, plonk, and enjoy each other’s company. You can look at a variety of                    instruments, bring items to display and/or to sell (if there’s enough space!), play what you want (either                    individually or collectively), and come and go as you please. You’re also welcome to photograph, record, or                    stream on-line in any way you wish.

VENUE: ‘The Sweeney Country House Hotel’ - a lovely local venue in a lovely location set well back from the road                  (on the A483 just south of Oswestry).  It has plenty of parking space and a very pleasant meeting room that                  can hold an absolute maximum of forty-five people.

BOOKING: You must contact me to book your place, which is always done on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

                      (If your name’s not on my list, you won’t get in).

                      Numbers are limited to an absolute maximum of 50 because of the size of the room. Places go quickly, so                       don’t delay, book today!

ENTRY COST: Only £5.00p per person.

                

FOOD AND ACCOMMODATION: Limited on-site accommodation (12 rooms only). A two double-bedroom cottage is available for a minimum of two nights. Self-catering facilities in the cottage, but you can opt to have your meals in the Hotel instead. For full details please contact the Hotel (details above).

* Tea, Coffee, and Biscuits, will be available for purchase in late morning.

* Those wanting an evening meal with a limited choice menu will be asked to select their choice from. This list will be    has to be given to the Chef by 1.00pm at the latest. Remember what you order!

* The meal will be served at 6.30pm.

   Less than ten minutes up the road are ‘Mile End’ Services (either side of the double roundabout on junction of the   A5 and the A483. Services include a ‘Travelodge’, ‘Premier Inn’, ‘Burger King’, ‘Oswald’s Cross’ (a good value   restaurant), ‘Kentucky Fried Chicken’, an ‘OK Diner’, and a ‘Starbucks’.
